The estimated total initial investment ranges from $271,000 – $453,000. This figure includes all costs that you will encounter in building and operating costs for the first few months. Exact cost will depend on the amount of reconstruction needed, the costs associated with local building ordinances, and the amount of signage purchased. Included in the initial investment is Steak-Out’s franchisee fee of $30,000. Steak-Out Operations Training To effectively and efficiently prepare you for your store opening, you will attend our intensive four week training session involving classroom instruction combined with in-store, hands-on experience. Training covers customer service, food preparation, delivery techniques, sanitation, marketing, administration and all the other tools you will need to manage your new Steak-Out. In addition, the operations/training team will work side-by-side with you during your opening week. Steak-Out Marketing Training While you are in training, we will teach you are straightforward marketing strategies. These techniques include how to identify and market to your target audience, how to maximize your marketing dollars, and how to create and maintain a successful marketing plan. We will be there when your store opens to help you market to potential customers in your delivery area. After opening, ongoing training and assistance is available from our field marketing staff who will work one-on-one with you in your local market. Steak-Out Field Consultants Our highly seasoned and experienced professionals will assist you with the site selection, safety, inventory, and operational control systems. They work with you in your store and will teach you how to capitalize on proven ways of building sales and maximizing Q: What type of franchise is available? Steak-Out offers single and multi-unit development franchises. In order to qualify for multi-unit and area development franchises, a franchise prospect must be able to demonstrate previous management responsibilities as well as have the financial resources neccessary to develop a market. Single unit franchisees may qualify for an additional locaion once their Steak-Out unit has operated successfully. Q: What is the on-going royalty fee, support, and development fee? The royalty fee is 5% of weekly royalty sales. The promotions and development fee is 2% of royalty sales. This fee will be used for promotions including national and/or regional advwertising, public relations, marketing, market research, customer analysis and testing, product and system research and development, promotion consulting, and for other purposes in direct and indirect support of franchisees and development of the Steak-Out system as a whole.
